Hello.
I have been trying for over a week to get a clean calendar extender using AJAX 1.0. One that will cause the calendar to dissappear after selecting a date and one that shows all the days in the calendar, mine cuts of Friday and Saturday.
I have tried several suggestions from other forum posts that i have come accross and have not had any luck.
The ASP.NET calendar worked great. Never had a problem with it except that it was always visible. I thought i would be real slick and use the highly touted AJAX controls, but it turns out that it seems to create more work than it is worth.
At the risk of sounding ungrateful, unappreciative and totally unknowledgeable and at the risk of taking a chance on being ostracized by the AJAX community, i have to say i can't see how AJAX is so great considering all of the things you have to do to get it to work right. If it's such a great technology and it's from Microsoft, why don't they just make it work like all of the other controls and put it into the Visual Web Developer of VS2005?
Does anybody have a working calendar extender that dissappears and shows all of the days?
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks,
Tony

I use many of their controls and they work incredibly. They have exactly what you're looking for. Best of all, many of the controls are free!
Best of luck.
