Is Atlas ready for prime time

Hi,
Is Atlas ready to be implemented into commercial web applications now or maybe the question should be, Should Atlas be implented into commercial web applications. Does it fall under the beta go-live licence. Is there any idea as to cost of the final product library.
thanks.I've just come back from PDC where I went to some neat sessions where Atlas was showcased. I'm not part of the dev team, but it's my understanding Beta 1 with as "Go Live" licence will be some time next year. The reason it's out in the public domain is to get feedback, so it's probably too early for production sites (unless you're very brave), but it's definitely time to experiment, something I'll be doing plenty of when the jet lag wears offSmile [:)]
Short answer: No.
The bits that have been released are preview bits for us to play withand learn about. According to the licensing agreement, you're noteven allowed (legally) to implement these bits in a production app, sopersonally, I wouldn't do it.
Having returned from PDC, I'm excited to experiment with this great newtechnology! (And guys on the ASP.NET team, I still want a HUGEback button! Smile [:)] (Inside joke from the Panel on Friday))

Thanks - I reconed no was the answer - its a shame they tempt us with this stuff so early.

What is the client footprint in order to run the AJAX application developed using Atlas? Can the application run on IE 6.x and does the user need to install Atlas client libraries?

sgadre99, the end user is not required to install anything at all.
Applications developed using Atlas are cross browser compatible, and will run on IE6, Safari, variants of Mozilla's browsers. (I'd assume all browsers which support the XmlHttpRequest object, which also includes the Opera browser.)
With Atlas you can have either standard html client side controls mixed with JavaScript, or from my understanding, Atlas Server controls mixed with XML-Script.
